Ginger has a spicy aroma that is both warming and relaxing. The essential oil is steam distilled from the root of the perennial herb, grown in India. It is most commonly used for the temporary relief of the pain of rheumatism. The herb (not the essential oil) is indicated for the relief of nausea, but it is likely that the aroma of the essential oil may also offer some relief as well.

Grapefruit has a fabulously tangy & uplifting citrus aroma derived from cold pressing the fruit peel. The essential oil captures the unique sweet-sour characteristic of the Grapefruit. Blends well with Lavender, and most other middle to base note oils.

jasmine

Jasmine has an exotic and sensual aroma, evocative of warm balmy summer nights. It is an extremely precious oil steam distilled from the delicate white flowers which must be handpicked before the heat of the day alters the volatile oil in the flowers. Springfelds Jasmine oil is conveniently blended into jojoba oil for direct application to the skin. Richly moisturising, the jojoba is readily absorbed, leaving the skin naturally scented.

Stream distilled from the berries of a small shrub tree, Juniper possesses a fruity, cleansing aroma. Juniper is indicated to assist in the management of fluid retention, and is generally applied topically via massage. A popular oil for cleansing the air in a room.

There are so many uses for Lavender including just the pure pleasure of its wonderful aroma. It can provide temporary relief from headaches, and is particularly beneficial during times of stress. There are hundreds of common varieties of Lavender, but few are endowed with the healing capabilities of the Lavandula angustifolia species. Springfields Lavender oil is sourced exclusively from France, the most famous growing region for Lavender.

Cold pressed from the fruit rind, Lemon delivers an enlivening citrus aroma, bursting with freshness. Lemon is very light in aroma and adds a delicate freshness when combined with other slightly deeper aromas. Most commonly used in a vaporiser to refresh and enliven the environment.
