our history

Springfields was created by John and Jillian Kerr in 1990 in their Sydney home,
at a time when natural skincare and aromatherapy was still in its infancy. The company grew out of John and Jillian’s passion for nature and their belief that one’s wellbeing should be sustained and nutured by the beauty and quality of nature.

John is an academic in Botanical medicine, essential oil chemistry, aromatherapy and wound care. He is a sought after lecturer and has presented at major conferences around the world including USA, UK, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and New Zealand and has co-found two internationally respected journals; ‘Aromatherapy Today’ and ‘The International Journal of Clinical Aromatherapy’.

Springfields have since gained an enviable international reputation and are perceived as a benchmark for quality. Our product range has evolved over the years, and now includes a substantial range of aromatherapy body care products, made with the same diligence and to the same quality standards we have always applied.

All our products are lusciously scented with 100% pure and natural essential oils. Essential oils are the natural oils found in plants, which are responsible for their delightful aromas, and have been found to have significant skin care benefits.

We are committed to providing healthy products, which are free from potentially harmful ingredients such as Parabens, Formaldehyde, Mineral Oil, Petrochemicals and Sulfates. We do not test on animals or use any animal ingredients in our products.

At Springfields, we ensure that all the ingredients we use are of the most stringent quality, and that all of our products are made in Australia.
